According to current legislation, the health insurance fund reimburses the cost of travel, calculated based on the number of kilometers multiplied by a coefficient, between the patient’s point of care and their final destination. A mandatory reduction is deducted from this amount.
In the event that the patient benefits from 100% coverage, no costs are advanced. We send the invoice directly to the cash register along with the required documents, such as the medical prescription for seated transport and, where applicable, the status report.
When the support is 55%, we apply Third-Party Payment. You must pay the remaining 45%, corresponding to the mutual’s share, unless you are affiliated with Harmonie Mutuelle. At your request, we can defer collection until your mutual insurance company is reimbursed.
